Sand Blast

Gameplay Mechanics of Two Modes in Sand Blast

The game offers two main modes: Classic and Powder. Each mode provides a distinct gameplay experience while completing lines to clear blocks and score points.

Classic Mode in Sand Blast

In Sand Blast Classic mode, the screen is partially filled with hundreds of pre-placed blocks. Your task is to rotate and move each new block provided by the game and place it into available empty spaces among the existing blocks.

The goal is to position blocks strategically to form horizontal lines, which will then be cleared automatically. As the game progresses, space becomes more limited, requiring careful planning and precise placement to avoid running out of moves.

Powder Mode in Sand Blast

Powder mode offers a completely different experience. Instead of starting with fixed blocks, the game provides an empty container. When blocks are dropped, they break apart and flow like sand, similar to mechanics seen in sand-based puzzle games such as Sand Tetris.

In this mode of Sand Blast, you must guide the flowing sand to form complete horizontal lines. Once a full sand line is created, it clears, making room for more falling material. Powder mode emphasizes physics, timing, and creative placement rather than rigid block shapes.

Supports Available in Both Modes of Sand Blast

Supports in Classic Mode

Classic mode in Sand Blast includes three powerful support tools:

  • Bomb: Instantly blasts multiple rows at once, creating large amounts of space.
  • Swap: Allows you to exchange the current block with a new one if it doesn’t fit the available gaps.
  • Undo: Reverses your last move, giving you a second chance to correct mistakes.

These supports help players survive longer and recover from difficult situations.

Supports in Powder Mode

Powder mode also offers three unique supports:

  • Bomb: Clears flowing sand lines to free up space quickly.
  • Eraser: Removes a selected type of sand from the container.
  • Switch: Changes the shapes of the three upcoming blocks into different forms.

Completing Tasks in Sand Blast

Sand Blast features a task system that rewards players with gems for completing specific challenges. These tasks encourage regular play and skill improvement. Common tasks include:

  • Playing for 5 minutes
  • Completing 3 games
  • Logging in for 7 consecutive days
  • Completing daily tasks
  • Scoring 2000 points in a single game
  • Scoring 5000 points in a single game

Earning gems through tasks allows players to enjoy the game more freely by using supports when needed.

Select Different Materials in Sand Blast

One standout feature of Sand Blast is its variety of visual materials and themes. Players can choose from backgrounds such as Candy, Pink, Gold, Walnut Wood, Silver, Regular, and Mahjong.

Each material offers unique colors, textures, and visual styles, creating a fresh experience every time you play. This level of customization is something you rarely find in traditional block puzzle games like Block Blast.

Whether you prefer structured block placement or free-flowing sand challenges, Sand Blast offers hours of strategic fun for puzzle lovers of all skill levels.
